Even short-lived moments can be beautiful in their stillness, change, and flaws.
Frosted is a series of photographs capturing flowers in their frozen, suspended state. What started as an experiment quickly developed into an exploration of the tension between preservation and decay. The ice becomes both a protective shield and a force of transformation, distorting, magnifying, and obscuring the delicate forms trapped within.
This series is a meditation on time: the moment beauty begins to fade, the urge to hold onto it, and the inevitability of change. By placing each flower within the translucent confines of ice, I invite viewers to consider how we attempt to preserve what is momentary - whether memories, feelings, or life itself. Each image is about holding on to the moments that are naturally fleeting and finding beauty in stillness, change and imperfections.
